I’m a technologist using this site to write about technology, policy, and topics interesting to technology or policy audiences. I won’t paywall a post, because I’m posting for the public conversation; paying for a subscription is the usual fuzzy patronage model where it’s buying my time spent researching for and writing posts here, but not as neatly as a fractional consulting hour. (For purchases of consulting hours, fractional or full, email my three-letter nickname at this domain.)

I also won’t “growth hack”, though I will promote. This is not a mass-audience publication. So, please share links to things you find interesting to others who will find them interesting; three parties will gain.

Commenting ability is behind the paywall, because I don’t want to moderate a comment section. In that case you’re paying a bit more directly than fuzzy patronage, for me to moderate you. Which I probably won’t do, because it’s rare for someone to pay to spam.
